Shayna T. Blum received her MFA: Design and Technology, San Francisco Art Institute, 2009; Post Bac: Text and Image Art, School of the Museum of Fine Art, Boston, 2005; and BFA: Painting, Lyme Academy College of Fine Art, 2001. Blum’s work has been exhibited nationally and internationally. She has participated in various visiting artist lecture series and workshops throughout the United States. And is the recipient of awards and artist fellowships including, the Paul and Eleanor Harper Fellowship, Vermont Studio Center, 2007; Town of Breckenridge Artist in Residence Fellowship, 2006; Vision and Voices Artist in Residence Fellowship, International Festival of Art and Ideas, 2003. Blum's work incorporates multi-media technologies and informational processes through practices of visual communication.
